BCWP Protocol for BC Certified Guide and Service Dogs

The BCWP is pleased to welcome guests who require BC certified guide and service dogs. Please be aware that our animals may become agitated when in close proximity to your dog and we request that you adhere to the following guidelines:

  • All animal enclosures should be approached slowly to give our animals time to react to the presence of a service dog. If an animal appears distressed or agitated the dog should be immediately moved further back or completely away from the enclosure.
  • If the dog is barking or causing a disturbance for our animals or other guests, we may require that the guest and accompanying service dog leave the park.
