If you're looking for unique things to do in Kamloops, the BC Wildlife Park offers an unforgettable experience that combines education, family fun, and wildlife conservation. Home to over 200 animals, the park provides a chance to see British Columbia’s wildlife up close while learning about the importance of conservation. Take a ride on the Wildlife Express Train, watch animal feedings and animal encounters, check out the interactive exhibits, or let the kids enjoy the playground and splash park. Every visit helps support the park’s mission of rescuing and caring for local wildlife.

 This geothermic, climate controlled 18,000 sq. ft. Discovery Centre includes the Eco Gallery, Wildlife Education Centre, Reptile Exhibit, Naturally Yours Gift Shop, and the Blue Heron Café.

Imagine you’re an eagle searching the sky, or a badger hiding in your burrow! Let your littles go wild at our imaginative playground that incorporates animal habitats into your child’s play.

Visitors of all ages can cool off at our splash park  *seasonal & weather permitting

Bring your lunch and enjoy our accessible, outdoor, covered picnic area. 

Home Hardware Family Farm
Home Hardware Family Farm

The Home Hardware Family Farm is home to all our farm animals including our llama, turkey, rooster, goats, and miniature donkeys. On select days and during special events, guests can get up close to our friendly goats and sheep.

*Please note Family Farm will close when temperatures exceed 30 degrees Celsius or the smoke index is above 7.

During July & August join us at the Highland Valley Copper Amphitheatre for an up close look at some of North America's incredible birds of prey as they fly overhead.  After the show, visitors can head to the stage to take photos and have an up close look at Rogue the red tail hawk and an owl. 

Flight demonstrations are available  Friday through Tuesday at 11:00am.* *Schedule subject to change, weather dependent.

All aboard the Wildlife Express Miniature Train! This wheelchair accessible miniature train takes passengers on a short ride through various areas of the BC Wildlife Park.

Tickets are just $1.00 each, including tax, and can be purchased at the train station (cash only).

Join us for seasonal daily animal encounters featuring reptiles such as snakes, turtles, a tortoise, or bearded dragon; owls including the extirpated burrowing owl, and other bird of prey encounters. Upon arrival, be sure to check the daily schedule to see which animal is being featured at what time.

What is the largest land mammal in North America? Do bighorn sheep have horns or antlers? How do red foxes hunt? Is a kermode bear different than a black bear?  Join us at different animal habitats throughout the summer to learn more about each animal.
