Throughout your tour, you’ll visit various animal habitats and hear the unique stories of how each animal arrived at the BC Wildlife Park and became an Educational Ambassador for their species. Please note that due to time constraints, not all habitats will be visited during the tour. However, you are welcome to continue exploring the park on your own afterward!
Reservations are required a minimum of 14 days in advance, and all tours are subject to availability.

Bundle up and join us for a chilly adventure featuring the resilient winter warriors of the BC Wildlife Park. When temperatures drop below freezing, how do animals adapt and survive? Visitors will learn about these adaptations and how animals endure harsh winter conditions and gain skills in identifying animal signs in the snow!
Season Available: May to August Possible Animals Visited: Grizzly bear, black bear, Kermode bear, salmon, deer, farm animals Bears are an essential part of Canada's wildlife, and coexisting with them is key to preserving our natural environment. In this interactive tour, guests will explore the bear habitats at the park and learn how to identify different bear species, understand their role in the ecosystem, and discover ways to safely coexist with these incredible animals.
Season Available: Year-round Possible Animals Visited: Pollinator garden, swan pond, grizzly bear, bobcat, raccoon, bison, caribou, Arctic wolf, badger, elk, Kermode bear (varies based on season) Canada’s diverse landscapes provide homes for many different species. From grasslands and mountains to tundra and rainforests, each habitat is unique. This tour invites guests to explore a variety of habitats within the park, learning how animals meet their survival needs and adapt to their environments. Guests will also identify key features that make each habitat special.

This tour encourages guests to consider the impact of species loss and what actions they can take to protect local habitats. They will learn about the roles of various animals and how to be wildlife advocates, empowering them to take steps towards conservation in their communities.
