PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT REQUIRE VACCINATION PASSPORTS. 

 

THE BC WILDLIFE PARK IS COMMITTED TO THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ALL OUR STAFF, GUESTS,  AND THE WILDLIFE IN OUR CARE.  WE WILL FOLLOW STRICT SAFETY PROTOCOLS TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AT THE BCWP.

Before Visiting the BC Wildlife Park

We kindly request that you postpone your visit if:

  • You have been in contact with anyone sick with COVID-19 within the last 10 days
  • If you are feeling sick or exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms
 
 

During  your visit to the BC Wildlife Park

We have the following measures in place for your safety and our team:

  • Face masks and / or facial coverings are recommended for all visitors, staff, and volunteers inside all public buildings including the discovery centre and public washrooms. Non-medical masks are available for purchase for $1.00 at the Guest Services counter. 
  • Plexiglas protective shields are installed at admission desk & gift shop purchase points, and all food service points.
  • High traffic areas have hand sanitizer available to dispense, including but not limited to: (Entrance, throughout Discovery Centre, self-serve beverage stations, food service areas, gift shop, Guest Services desk).
  • Floor stickers throughout Discovery Centre, Blue Heron Café, Caboose, Gift Shop, Washrooms, indoor public spaces, outdoor entrance line reminding of physical distancing.
Accessibility Aids
  • Strollers & wagons are now available to rent and will be disinfected after each guest use.
  • Wheelchairs are available and are disinfected with lysol wipes after each guest use.

Food Services
  • Limited menu to decrease wait times
  • Whenever possible, limit to 1 family member per household to order take out food
  • Please use provided hand sanitizer prior to using self-serve beverage stations
