This special day brings together family fun, wildlife education, and a celebration of six decades of conservation, community, and caring for British Columbia's wildlife.!

Enjoy entertainment for the whole family throughout the day with live performances, interactive activities, and exciting games around the park. 

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Enjoy exciting live entertainment throughout the event, featuring performances and appearances from crowd favourites like Uncle Chris the Clown show, Kiki the Eco Elf  and live music by Jon Fennell. (Kiki's schedule can be found below).

Face Painting

Kamloops Art Party will be on the patio  offering face painting for little one and grown ups! Prices range from $7–$20, depending on design (cash or credit accepted). Service will be available from 10:00am to 03:00pm.

Bouncy Houses and dunk tank

Bouncy houses will be open to the public from 10:00am to 03:00pm. Located in front of the Caboose. Get ready to get wet, Dunk Tank will be located close to the Spray Park 11am to 3pm. Participation is by donation and subject to all posted rules and safety guidelines.

Train Rides

 Hop aboard the Wildlife Express Miniature Train for a fun ride around the Park! The train will be running from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with tickets available by donation (cash only).

Hungry? Take a break and grab a bite from a variety of local food trucks joining us for the day’s celebrations. From sweet treats from Lemon Heaven to savoury favourites at Fryer’s and Cornado. There will be plenty of delicious options for the whole family to enjoy throughout the event. 

Don’t forget to stop by our Café for one of our special bear ice cream cones! A sweet treat for little ones and grown-ups alike.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

 Enjoy exciting wildlife learning opportunities throughout the day! Test your knowledge with bear trivia, take part in hands-on crafts at the Outdoor Classroom, and learn more about our bears during feed talks led by the Wildlife Education team.

We're also excited to welcome Bear Smart, WildSafeBC, and the Kamloops Naturalist Club, who will be sharing their knowledge and passion for wildlife conservation.
